DeepOcean is the leading subsea services provider, servicing equipment with specialised expertise. It provides subsea services to the global offshore industries such as Inspection Maintenance and Repair, Subsea Construction, Cable Lay, and Subsea Trenching. DeepOcean project manages and operates a fleet of Vessels, ROV's and subsea Trenchers.
Delta Fabs were commissioned by DeepOcean to undertake the fabrication, supply and installation of a Tensioned Grillage for one of its vessels from our Hebburn Facility
The client requested that the project be fabricated in several sections: the first section being the platform with walkway and handrail with the second section being the frame.
Delta Fabs operate a rigorous Quality, Health and Safety protocol at its facility and when offsite carrying out mobilisations and installations. All work scopes carried out in this project were completed to the highest of safety standards.
The total weight of the structure was 52 tonnes and was fully fabricated, painted and delivered within eight weeks from client PO. The bespoke grillage was installed by the Delta Fabs vessel mobilisation team.
Our proactive and communicative approach with clients when entrusted to manage their mission critical projects ensures that we keep client’s appraised at all junctures of the project, including progress reports at key milestones. This together with a detailed project-close-out document hand-over pack ensures clients have all the information they require.
